You may be wondering, is there a best day of the week, or a certain time out from the flight that gets you the cheapest airline ticket? Or questioning when should you buy flights to Europe for a summer vacation?

In today’s video, I will discuss travel hacks like booking flights on a Tuesday, or late at night, to get the best deal. I will share strategies and free tools that I use to get the best price on every airline ticket using Google Flights.

  1. Not true…
You need to go back to school. I've been traveling and on the road since 1979. I've used numerous websites and understand how things work. Internationally you will find the best deals on Priceline about 9 months out. Domestically it's still hard to beat GOOGLE FLIGHTS. Now go back to your Gender Studies degree and preach to the brain-dead and easily mislead.

  2. Curious. This used to work years ago but largely is irrelevant during high season. I have tested this “Cookie” theory with 3 phones and a laptop: Prices remain the same unless you arrive when cheap seats are scarce and someone snatches yours during processing. Sorry…your advice is largely useless.

  3. Going to the airport can reduce the price also… what I started doing is checking the prices first for the cheapest date then plan my vacation around that rather then just picking a random time

  4. What about no direct flights that ads to cost of ticket
I want to go to Thailand in July but no us direct flights.
So who should I fly with. And what nation best to change planes in what city do I fly in

  5. It would be great, if you don't use music in the video. Since we come to hear what you have to say about the topic on your title, and not the music.

  6. and what if the flights are on Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays?
And the prices are the same. There is no perfect advice when to fly cheaper, because each airline has its own business model and a different classification system for the given flights.
It's like saying that in December you have to wear a warm jacket because it's cold – but not in Miami, New Zealand or Australia. There is no perfect advice.
But there's one key, and it always works – use your brain.

  7. Any tips for one time huge events? specifically the world cup this year in Qatar. Data like trends and high/medium/low wont be able to be used to get an idea of how low that flight should/could go.

  8. I need to book earlier as I need more leg room. I keep on forgetting about Google Flights.

  9. Thinking of going to Israel for a 2 person flight but decided not to go because it costed 2,400 for 1 person is there anyway to make that lower or like should I wait another day to do it because I have summer break so it ends in a month and I am trying to stay there for a month and come back to school and not be late plz give me advise on what to do best and also I don’t understand what the cookies people are talking about

  10. I have used Google flights and observed that is said price was average but I felt that it was still too high. A few weeks later I got an alert that the price had dropped. So sometimes you have to trust your gut.

  11. The airlines are horrible ripping off the traveler. The price of a ticket can go 3 hundred percent on the internet from one hour to the next
The airlines say is because of the demand increase. I say is a bunch of BS. Hotels do not do that kind of things when you make a reservation.
The problem with the airlines is when.they are in trouble , they ask the government for money, the taxpayers money. Later they will ripped off the taxpayers with their abuse with the prices.
The politicians need to do something about this.
They ripped off the travelers all year around. In the Spring because of the Eastern, Summer because of the vacation, Fall because of the Thanks giving week, winter because of the holidays.
As a private businesses they can charge what ever they want. By the same token don't ask the government for our tax money when things are not good.

  12. Hey in January this year I booked a pakage for los angeles for June, I'm now trying to book the same pakage for June 2023 but it's comming up as £1000 more expensive. Would yiu recommend me waiting until January to book again? Is January the cheapest time to book?

  13. Hi! I want to start looking for a cruise, for my family and I. Generally we fly out a day early just incase of the weather. Would it be better be cheaper to fly 2 – 3 earlier than 1 day?

  14. Thank you for taking the time and doing the research for the public
