The trip took eight hours, slow and steady. Boarding starts at 7pm, then ship leaves by 10pm and arrives at Hakata Port before 6am. However, the Hakata Port opens at 7am, so there’s a bit of waiting time. If you want a faster one, try booking with JR Beetle, but at a higher price point.
