I bring you along as we tour Lost Continent, including Poseidon’s Fury, the gorgeous area theming, a look inside the Sinbad theatre, the talking fountain, the Treasures of Poseidon gift shop, and a look at Hogsmeade and Hagrid’s Magical Creatures Motorbike Adventure, to see how much space Lost Continent once had and what it looks like today, before a huge attraction is closed forever! I bring you along to document and share as much as I can an attraction that, both loved and hated, will soon be an extinct theme park attraction, so that we can remember it as a soon to be piece of Universal history together! I love that you're so positive. You are like a ray of sunshine. I always thought that if they could make a ride that combined the elements of journey to Atlantis at SeaWorld with Poseidon's Fury that it would be the coolest ride ever. Almost like a differently themed, boat version, of the Mummy.

Absolutely love the casual Ant and Dec reference, knowing us Brits would know who they are! I'm pretty fearful of fast rides so I will miss Poseidon's Fury because it was actually something I could do with my family. Another great video – thanks Jackie!

I would happily sacrifice Fast and the Furious for Poseidon's Fury. At least PF is what it advertises itself to be. I hope they do right by Lost Continent. It is magical in its own way.

Honestly not shocked at all, there is never any wait here or it's just closed down. While I don't dislike it I look forward to seeing what they do with it and will need to hit up Mythos before it's gone

Good thing I got to do Poseidon's fury last trip. I'm going to miss it, but optimistic about what's going on it's place.
Universal can do so much with this amazing real-estate. Totally support the decision to close PF, unlike Disney's criminal decision to close Splash Mountain.

Aside from the story I could guess new enhancements maybe new routes but we will see what Poseidon's fury has in store when it reopens

Great vlog Jackie!! Wow, can’t believe Poseidons Fury is permanently closing!! When I was at Islands of adventure couple years ago before Covid. I remember it being closed so I never got to go through it! It will be interesting to see what’s going to replace!! I love the merman statue in the doorway of the gift shop. It’s so cool! Love Hogsmeade it’s so pretty and cool!! Hagrids ride is so much fun!! Love that ride!! ❤️❤️😊❤️❤️
It's such a shame that IOA had lost The Lost Continent. It was such a unique area and I hate that it's disappearing.
The theme for Poseidon is different enjoyed the look.The ride was fun. The effects are fun. Sad to see it go hopefully they keep the outside exterior the same and add something different ride wise or update it. It's nice to occasionally just have a theme that isn't related to tv or movies. Thanks for the update.
With the tons of times I’ve been to universal the only time I’ve been in sinbads was for overflow for hagrids 😂

Poseidon wasn’t just the ruler of the seas he ruled over the whole Earth, his name literally means Lord Of The Earth, you see he founded Atlantis but Atlantis wasn’t just one city it was also the name of an empire founded by Poseidon himself that spanned over the Earth, that’s why he also has earth powers in the myths, you see Zeus’s name comes from an earlier name that translates basically to Sky Father and Hades means The Unseen like how the “underworld” is mostly unseen and hidden below the earth, so you have Zeus who was ruler over the sky, Poseidon who was ruler over the earth including the seas and Hades who ruled over the “underworld”.
It is not something we ever did, just kept putting it off for the next trip 🙈

I never got to see this in person, and honestly, it was one of my main draws to this area. Real bummer.
EDIT: I guess if they retheme it, and keep a lot of what makes it good today, that would draw me there still. Also, I 100% believe that since it will be closing forever soon, they should take down the signs asking people to not film, and let people film it! This is everyone's last chances to document it. They should let them! It's not like it will be spoiling the experience for people if it will be gone.

Hey Jackie the only thing that kept me from tearing up was your wonderful smile and the way that you send good vibes and Enthusiasm through your videos. Kay has only been once (when i took her 5 yrs ago) to Universal so she is kinda fuzzy about remembering the ride but i remember it distinctly. Ive been on it a few times and its one of my faves. I can't get there till march so i will miss the closing. Thanks for giving me one last memory with this wonderful attraction
