After living in Mexico for about 5 years, I’ve learned that there are some unwritten rules here. These are some of the rules in Mexico that nobody tells you about.

Where are you guys? Your loyal fans are concerned ♥
Where are you??
Where you at Jordan? It’s been a while.
Hey it’s been a month since the last vid I’m dying here
holding the door for somebody else isn't customary in every part of the world? weird
Would love to hear about the new no-smoking laws in Mexico.
So, theyre pretty much the same as us…which I kinda always knew. So, for the ones who think theyre different…youre really not. Lol.
The Battle of American Chicken Feed
The first one is the biggest bs i've ever heard lol, i've lived in México my whole life, i have lived through many cities and i've never heard that ish before 😂 maybe you were in a "dangerous" neighbourhood where a lot of sx workers work and the locals told you that? perhaps it was true down there, but it's definitely not and unwritten rule lol
i have to say, we do do that… but is not to say she's my gf not my beatch; it's to "protect her" in case something happens, we do that to children all the time too, it's seen as being a gentleman or chivalrous
There's nothing wrong with ordering food only, no drink. I've never eaten at a place that gave me free water 🤔 If you're driving as a tourist, feel free to be a slowpoke. You don't know where to hit the brakes for the potholes, topes and transito; everyone else does.
You really have a picture of a woman and a "she's for sale" caption? she is not for sale. no human is for sale. if she sells sex then it's no different than an athlete selling sport. both use their body but the PERSON is not for sale. It's a constant job to remind creepy as males of this when it comes to women. fkn psychos
It's not just a Mexican thing , I'm from South America and moved to the USA many, many years ago , and for me, it's very awkward to work in the left side if I'm walking with a women, I have to be in the right side. 🤷🏻♂️
Dude, you really have no idea of of old school thinking , my dad and uncles taught us this and were Hispanic and the sidewalk is to protect her other side is she's available. Even in western states they teach you this
Or usted Para todos mayores
Es bien provecho ,when someone is eating. And definitely enjoy ,at the same time it's a matter of showing respect
Some jilted puta is up in your ass in the qro expats group🤣
Rule number one if you see an orphan Watch out 👉👀💃👀💫🤯👺🦾
I lived in Guadalajara in 1993. In the neighborhood I lived in, there was a man who, when walking past women who were walking by themselves, grabbed one of their boobs as he passed. I saw this happen. Perhaps women walking on the inside of the sidewalk accompanied by a man has more to do with protection from assault.
Sounds like the Midwest USA.
Yo hago comentarios sobre las fallas de México y sus Gran debilidades por k amo tanto a esta país. Algunos me han tachado cómo racista pero no lo tomo personal por k ya se k ellos son muy orgulloso de su país pero igual ignorante. Jaja
I refuse to drive in Mexico. Nope… Did it once, and that was the last time.
As for stores, the last few times I've been they got rid of the bags so there were no baggers.
In the 20+ years of going to Mexico, this past year was the first time I heard anyone say "bien provecho". Not sure if this is a newer thing, or it just took longer to be picked up on our area.
Lol i always wonderered wtf my ex was talking about she always made sure she was on the inside lol she tried explaining to me i didnt pay it no attention lol i didnt care if she was outside or inside walking with me
Why is May not appearing in your videos?
Here in Canada, it's so cold that it's considered rude to hold the door open 😂
I love Mexico. I didn't pay attention to ANY of those while in the country but they still treated me very well.
Get your facts right. And unwritten rules straight. You're not Mexican and your girlfriend should know better. Don't make these unwritten rules up.
as a Mexican #1 i never heard of, and never seen to be true so no sure where you got that one from, maybe its a Mexico city thing idk
Omg the greeting one is so true lmao 🤣 im Mexican and omg my family gets so mad if I dont greet them
Number 1 is a general rule that is every where in the world. They are called traditional laws and rules of the world. I follow that rule even walking with my young daughter. Nobody is getting my baby girl, ever.
Let's upgrade that Sh*t. How about a Chiles Relleno instead of a sammy. It doesn't have to taste bad to be honest. The best criticism is respectful and friendly.
Thanks for the tips🎉
How do you motivate the Fiscalia de general to investigate the domanda you filed ,without bribing them ?
Good advice. I'm not familiar with the whole "it's very common in the US to only drink the free water and not order any drink." Maybe that's a regional or generational thing? I grew up in Wisconsin (right next to where you grew up in Minnesota), but I've lived on the East Coast for years.
It would be cool for you to do a video on your observations on the use of tú vs. Ud. in Mexico. I don't mean what textbooks say, most people who know Spanish know the basic "rules", but I have noticed some interesting things over the years that I would not expect. As a fluent speaker of Spanish, I am constantly observing this and sometimes hearing things that seem unusual to me. An example of this was when I was in Isla Mujeres a few years ago, a teenage kid who was helping out at a bar was tuteándome, and as a middle-aged guy, I was surprised. Is this because as a resort area the interactions are more casual? Also, is it changing? Your girlfriend or your native speaker friends might have interesting insight into this.
So much I didn’t know. Going back to Mexico this week and it’s been a while so this is useful. Watched both videos.
I like these kind of vloggs and I like when they are shorter. Many of yours are over 40 min. They might be good but too long for me. I don´t have time to watch them. You do as you like just an input if you are loosing viewers. Maybe a reason
It's kind of like when someone calls me sir, or mr, so and so, and I am like ahh no thats my father, not me. Or when I call someone in their thirties a younger person, because I am in my sixties, forgetting that I called someone in their sixties, when I was in my thirtes, sir or Mr, so and so, so now someone who was in their sixties when I was in my thirtes is now in their nineties, and I just call them lucky to be still breathing, LOL
What if I drink only water for health reasons? 😮
Note to New Yorkers: Don't come to Mexico & act like you do in New York: Loud, Pushy, & Condescending.
Came back to watch this again it's packed with valuable information!
Hi there, I am From Mexico City and would like to share something that you may have missed regarding the rule about having your girlfriend or wife walk on the side away from the street.
I was taught from a very young age that is more about acting like a gentleman, you are protecting her from the street like if a car passes by and there is a puddle, the gentleman prevents the lady from getting wet
I think saying a greeting isn’t just in Mexico it’s in all of Latin America
Again, your information about these rules is just wrong!! For hire??? Really??? Who told you that???
Do you just holler out provecho or do you say it to everyone you pass by
Thanks!
Where the hell do you live, we are not like this everywhere?
Lady on the inside is a Brooklyn NY thing too.
This is so BS the woman to walk inside the street and out side if you are walking outside towards the car you are a prostitute? Wow so stupid programe ppl believe. If i want to walk outside towards the cars i do it. No one can tell me how to live my life. Wow going To Mexico does not mean to fallow what others do. This is a brain wash programe . What i can say inteesting point of view Tangerine.
