First, weāre heading to Daegu, a modern city with traditional roots that still offer remnants of the Joseon Dynasty. Itās the fourth-largest city in South Korea, but still lies somewhat off the beaten path. Weāre going to explore some of Daeguās hidden gems, from a street dedicated to a famous musician, to the observation deck of 83 Tower, to the traditional street food at Seomun Market.
Ā
Then, Iām taking you to Gyeongju, a traditional city with a rich history dating back to the Silla Kingdom. This UNESCO World Heritage Site is the perfect place to dive into South Koreaās history, form its ancient temples and pagodas, to its fortresses and underground tombs. Weāll also get a taste of Korean-Chinese fusion food and learn more about this mouthwatering cuisine.
Ā
So, without further ado, letās go to Daegu and Gyeongju, South Korea!

Hey David He help donate money war šøš© Sudan
Nice job Davidsbeenhere.
This my town!! Daegu!!!!!
Daegu has the most spicy food in Korea. It is also characteristic of the southern region. However, traditional Korean food is not spicy at all. It has only been less than 50 years since chili peppers have been used in many ways in Korean cuisine. Even now, there are still far more non-spicy Korean foods than spicy ones.
naice''
The jeons (pancakes) you had were made with garlic chives (not leeks)-buchu jeon is one of my faves! I can't believe how big the portions are in Daegue and low the prices for food is in Daegu!
NICE VIDEO
Have you checked out Boony Tucky Kentucky?
David, why is there always electrical noise feedback giving off in your videos ? Can you please fix this issue ?
You are killing it David, so impressed with your love for different cultures. Thanks for always representing!
Even a vegetarian can appreciate the footage at Bongsan. You can't disguise the bliss of a hot chile buzz š
At the risk of repeating myself, there really isn't much to say. All the different places in South Korea seem to have the same types of food, some of which I enjoyed watching and some not (all that raw seafood is not for me). The place is beautiful and clean though and the people seem to go about their daily lives like business as usual, undisturbed. So David, one doc. down with two more to go. The length of these docs. are killers but I am still alive to enjoy the rest. LoL. So see you in Guatemala and Puerto Rico. Blessings.ššāļøā¤ļøš¹š¹šØš¦
