  1. The tricolor cheese I’ve tried and it’s fantastic! It’s bought it in Canada but cannot find it at home in the US. I pick it up whenever I’m in CA

  2. Crazy to see you guys in a place 5 minutes from my home. Could have easily ran into you guys, but afraid I missed you! Hope you enjoyed Rotterdam and hope to see you back! Great recommendations are the Foodhallen and Fenix Food Factory, very close to the Erasmusbrug.

  3. What a fun video of a fun group day! I love the little bits of Dutch you guys are saying, with really quite proper pronunciation too, impressive! Esther and Tamara were sweet 🙂

  4. It could be possible that the Dutch have their way of conserving 'haring', herring, from the Japanese! …or the other way around. But that's debatable because conservation foods with salt is as old as human kind.

  5. 'Pepernoot' which translates to 'pepper nut'. Due to its 17 th. century original Dutch South African settlers recipe. Yes, back in the day there was pepper and pepperish like spices inside. They ate them while having beer and coffee.
The Rijksmuseum and pastry chef Cees Holtkamp of Amsterdam did a study into its origins. A couple different recipes in old VOC (United East Indies. Co.) documents showed more light on the origins of the 'pepernoot'.

  6. If you're going siteseeing. Don't forget to hop on tram 21or 24 to Schiedam. To visite the 5 largest windmills in the world. (And maybe taste some real ketel1 jenever) 😊❤

  7. 8:11 whatever you do, do not eat fenegriek cheese, it is the absolute worst thing i ever ate lol. fair warning to everybody who has the same kind of tastebuds as i doXD as for the rest of you who do enjoy it, i admire your courage.

  8. Thanks for interesting video. Was few time in Holand. Education system iš great, emigrants socialization iš the best in the world. Sea food iš great. Rich country.
