Wowowowow i cannot wait this is gonna be so good this sounds so amazing and great!!!!! you two are the best
Can't make it to SDC this year, but I can't wait to see you take it on! I see almost no coverage of my home park, so it's nice to finally get some exposure!
so no fiesta texas or over texas !! why ?
Just needed to add one more to make it the full alphabet 😂
Truly living the dream with this trip though, looking forward to following the entire adventure.
Maybe make it a proper American road trip. Hire a big truck and a RV on the back. Give you somewhere to sleep each night
Go solo! I miss the old days
Woohooo Dollywood 🥰 I was hoping that would be on this mega trip. I've seen it in a Dolly documentary and it looked amazing.
Will you go to silver dollar city would really like to meet both of you
Have fun. I loved Kingda Ka. It was amazing. Charlotte will love it and look forward to seeing the videos and reviews. Make sure to tell six flags your a virgin at the parks they might throw in something for you!
This is going to be awesome. Can't wait.
Well done you two 😊
❤
This is absolutely INCREDIBLE!! Living out my dreams with this road trip – can’t wait to vicariously live through you both for a month hahaha
Can we have a ' what to pack' vlog? You two always seem to know how to pack light!
Shawn, I can tell you that your USA Road-trip is already being blessed. Mind Eraser at Six Flags America has an extended closure and I just saw T3 at Kentucky Kingdom has been retired. Two SLCs you won’t😅 have to deal with.
will you be going to Florida any time soon? I'm going in summer just for theme parks and I love your Florida videos but all of them are amazing.
Shawn and Charlotte,
JP Videos on You Tube just had a walkthrough
of Knoebels behind the scenes exclusive with the park coordinator,
I think you might enjoy it!
Cheers,
Rik Spector
Kennywood is my home park. So thankful that you'll get back for a visit.
Been to quite a lot of those parks in the past. Looking forward to the vlogs. Make sure you experience Grandpa's Mansion at Silver Dollar City, the Bumper Boats at Fun Spot Atlanta and Dr Frankenstein's Castle at Indiana Beach. Be interesting how Drier Looping is (also at Indiana Beach) if it's open – Did you ride it when it was at Flamingoland? Also be interesting to see how Mount Olympus is as, Hades aside, it was not good 5 years ago!
My Grade School in Jackson,N.J. was built with land donated by Richard and Stanley Switlik
I went there in 1947-48. until 1955.
Great Adventure was The Switlik Residence land on the lake before it became what we know today.
They used to have a Safari drive through ,but they had so much trouble with the baboons that they
hired someone to get rid of them, so they say.
There were a lot of Hunters in Jackson at that time, the Baboons disappeared… maybe a connection or not,
but a friend of mine said they had a found a pile of animals in the woods.. Just a rumor ???
Cheers,
Rik
Is Orlando Studios Theme Park is on your USA Trip Theme Park Worldwide?
Wow, that's certainly an action packed itinerary! Hope you enjoy your trip. I went to Six Flags Great Adventure in 2013, it was my first, and so far, only USA theme park experience. My friends chickened out on Kingda Ka until after lunch… then we got right to the station and a storm was coming in, so they closed it due to lightening and we didn't get on it ☹️ The storm passed, but it didn't reopen, I was so gutted. What I recall being great was that they were open till about 21:00 and after 17:00 the park was so quiet, plus they allowed rerides which was ace, got on so many rides there. The wooden coaster El Toro is immense too!
T3 has permanently closed at Kentucky Kingdom
You did learn a lot from your last trip! I've been guilty of cred hunting and packing too much into too short of a time myself and it's really not worth it since you can't enjoy the trip. This trip looks really great, hope you two enjoy it! Hopefully it also opens up enough time to visit other things you find interesting along the way. FYI Dorney Park and Six Flags America aren't that great so if you're pressed for time I wouldn't stress over missing those two. Hershey has a ton to do outside of the park like the gardens and downtown, it's actually a really beautiful town.
Aww I'm so excited to see the videos from your trip! I live in west central Pennsylvania, and honestly it's the best place to live if you're an enthusiast. I loved watching your trip in 2019. Looking forward to the next!
Are you going to put out dates that you'll be attending parks in case some of us have to call off work 😂😂
Im glad to see your going back to kings island after they decided to close early when you were last there!!! I hope you get your night ride on beast😁Is brett going to join you? And i hope you manage to ride the bat its so smooth😁👍
Can not wait for the vlogs but are u going to meet Bert on your travels over in the USA road trip
What day are you going to be at Cedar Point? Would love to meet up with the both of you.
Intriguing how Shawn keeps referring to 2019 trip ,bthough won't mention the other one's name…..
Can't wait for this! One question though… Will you be able to film onride? I know you can get special permission at some parks if ask ahead.
A tip on the Beast at night…the sun sets very late in Ohio in June, like 9:00 or even later. They shut the ride down completely for the nightly fireworks but they do open it back up for people who are already in line. That’s perfect for a pitch dark ride, but it comes at the cost of missing the spectacular day-ending light show. If you wanted to catch both, you may have to settle for a “dusk” ride to catch the show (which is best viewed from the main entrance).
The night ride on Beast is definitely an experience you want to have. I had soured on the ride overall over the years but got my first night ride (after the fireworks) a couple years ago, and it blew me away. This was before the retrack work, which has made it all so much better.
All the best for a dry, incredible experience at Kings Island this time around!!
Enjoy both of you. Looking forward to the vlogs
Amazing guys, hope you have a fantastic time.
Couple of questions, Do you buy your park tickets on the day or in advance? And do you opt for fast pass tickets to ensure you get everything done? Kind regards.
As a Wisconsinite I hope you enjoy the incredible jankiness that is Mount Olympus (Make sure you have some Culver's when you're in the state.)
Man, this sounds great! I live on the East Coast here in the 'States and have been to Dorney, Cedar Point, Hershey, Knoebels and a few others you're starting your trip off with here, and your enthusiasm is so contagious, it's making me wanna plan a trip of my own! I hope you guys have a wonderful time at each and every one of these parks, as well as just generally while you travel around the country. I hope it all goes smoothly – all that driving seems like it's going to be quite tiring, so make sure you rest up enough!
Very exciting list of parks and definitely less manic than the previous from the sounds.
It has the same name as me Lisa
Hello thank you so much for all your content on portaventura I’m just wondering if you are visiting there this year with the new ride opening in June as we are heading there in July!
So excited you’re coming to Six Flags Over Georgia and Fun Spot! They’re very close to my house! You’ll have a great time! Since I’ve always wanted to meet you and Charlotte, what’s the best way to contact you? Btw I don’t use Instagram, but I use Facebook and email.
I'm so excited and I'm not even going, hope you both have a amazing time, just so jealous
Maybe we'll see you at Carowinds in June. 😊
Shawn I think you should add Valleyfair in Minnesota experience Renegade (GCI), Steel Venom and Wild Thing (Morgan Hyper) it’s smaller Cedar Fair park 8 coasters and 3hours from Mt Olympus and 7hours from Worlds of Fun plus Nickelodeon Universe at Mall of America if you haven’t done this one yet. See one of the largest shopping Malls.
Just watched this video and it’s given me an idea of doing another road trip over there. 2018 we drove from Las Vegas to Florida. But I’d love to visit other theme parks there too. Looking forward to your vlogs
Great, have fun! Our family trip in july is a only mini trip compared to yours … we fly to NYC and visit Coney Isl. / Dorneyp. / Hersheyp. / CedarPoint / Kings Isl. / Kings Dom. / SFGA …. ❤
Another amazing expensive sounding theme park trip guys. Can’t wait to see the vlogs for this epic trip especially so soon after your massive Singapore and Australia trip.😉👍
