Here is the festival opening with drum teams’ presentation and Pray for Peace performance.
This year, I prepared for Narita Taiko and brought along a Tascam 32-bit float recorder to ensure that no sounds were distorted due to the huge dynamic range between the normal street sounds and the drum performance.

  3. I don't know a lot of countries having a Pray for Peace festival. I know a lot of places having a "Pray to win", "Pray to kill the other side", "Pray for more weapons", but nobody else having Pray for Peace. Thank you Japan.

  4. I started listening to this video this morning. I usually am too tired to do my chores in the morning. I was able to do some cleaning dishes this morning while listening to this video. It was a pleasure and like a breath of fresh air. It took me by complete surprise in a good way.

  5. I think pretty much every Taiko drumming exhibition that I have seen have been in either a theatre (on stage) or in a similar place where the audience tends to be more restrained and more polite.

IT's great to see a performance where the atmosphere is more open and relaxed, a little less formal.

  6. THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR THIS. It's so pleased to see Narita Taiko Festival. I feel like Covid is really over now. I look forward to Rambalac's Matsuri series again.

  7. I really love this, makes me smile πŸ™‚ Awesome that you recorded this Rambalac, thank you.

  8. Thank you so much for this and all your other videos too. Very enjoyable and calming πŸ™‚
