Today I headed to a 70 year year old Thai beef noodle soup kuay teow neua ก๋วยเตี๋ยวเนื้อตุ๋น with @keis one and what an experience it was!

We tried the beef noodles with everything 80 baht, the kobe and shank special 130 baht and beef satay 100 baht per 10 skewers.

This was the best satay I’ve had in Thailand without a doubt and the kuay teow was insanely good as well!

My name’s Gary and I’ve been living in Bangkok for the past five plus years and travelling Thailand for over ten. I’m obsessed with Thai street food and it’s that obsession that led me to start this YouTube channel. I want to share my favourite hidden spots in Bangkok and the rest of Thailand so you can fall in love with authentic, local Thai food as much as I have!

I’ve never understood travelling to a town or city and not eating the local food. How else do you really connect with a place? Let’s get out and explore together and I guarantee you’ll find a whole different side to this wonderful country.

If you love seeing off the beaten path, non-touristy, local life and authentic local life in Bangkok and Thailand then this is the channel for you. If go go bars on the Sukhumvit Road are more your thing (I’m not judging) then maybe not!

  1. I would have made a better guest than Adam lol. Shame I'm back in Canada 🙁 That looks amazing though. I will definitely check it out next time I'm there. Eat on!!

  2. This place looks just epic, with history, on top of everything. I can see how the family is proud of their tradition. The food looks amazing.. would probably beat vietnamese pho bo. My kind of place. 🤗👍🌶🍲🥣🤩

  3. Wine gums!!! Cor blimey me ol' mucka, taking me way back there aren't ya, duchess? This place looks like yet another absolute winner.

  4. Wow, that looked incredible!!! Have added this one to the bucket list for sure! Keep up the fantastic work. Looking forward to your colab with Paddy in Vietnam!

  5. This is a thanks for not only where you choose to eat, but your underlying message to 'get out there' and explore! And I implore your viewers to do so, as my wife and I did on a recent trip to Phuket. We ate at most of your suggestions, then went further. In one case the menu was all in Thai! That didn't deter us as we had the most amazing slow cooked chicken drum in a deep, rich broth. And there were many others!! Keep up the great work! (We left a more detailed note in your Gmail account) Love Waz and Caz, Melbourne, OZ

  7. I've been watching your videos for awhile now Gary. Wanted to reach out to say i'd wanna help you shoot your videos in the future when i head to bangkok. That might have to wait cos, health concerns. But still, enjoy watching your stuff, and can see the production quality improving! awesome. Keep eating, and enjoy.

  8. Thanks, Gary for another great review. Sounds like this is the place to be for gao lao noodles with those beef satay. Got it on my list now. Thanks, bro. 😊👍

  9. Tendon is connective tissue and doesn’t have much flavor. It is eaten more for it’s texture rather than for it’s flavor.

  10. I recommend you the Thai restaurant named Garlic กาลิค is in BangSue district ( สะพาน 99 ) I will get someone to look after you Gary. Please let me know when you are going.
