Thank you! Also it's so helpful that you show the Visit Japan site in your videos ❤. Other YouTubers mention it, but never show it.
thank you.
thanks for this. really appreciate the updates!
Wow. I'm arriving in Tokyo on the 30th. Though doesn't make a difference to me, I already uploaded my vaccine info to Visit Japan Web.
I arrived in Japan last weekend from Canada on an Air Canada flight and they were handing out the hard copies on the plane if needed.
There was a lot of people in the line at customs but the line was moving consistently and I was only about 30 minutes in that line.
I’m heading to Osaka for a week and I’m planning to take a couple of day trips to Kyoto.
Thanks Lisa. Kyoto is too crowded these days for me, although it is true to say that most visitors congregate at the best known or celebrated sites. If you are prepared to do some research, visit temples etc. early or late in the day, and seek out less famous spots, then you will be more likely to enjoy your visit. There are plenty of cities in Japan, apart from Kyoto, that have worthwhile attractions. Consider, for example, Kurashiki. It is not on the Shinkansen lines, but is well served with other transportation. It has an attractive 'cultural quarter', an excellent museum, good eating places and a relaxed pace. Just a thought, not a plug.
Great news from our favourite sharer of information! Thank you Lisa, keep being awesome!
YAAAAY!
Thanks for the update lisaaa!!!
Yes you def hit the nail on the head. They moved up the change because of Golden Week. Thats the main reason why. Airports are just too congested and theyre going to really get bad these next 2 weeks.
I dont think Japan Web makes that big of a difference tbh. My experience at Narita had us going through several checkpoints that put us into a queue for immigration to process us through. It might speed that process up somewhat but whats really going to alleviate the congestion is simply hiring more staff, more immigration officers, etc…but because of the pandemic, up until right now japan has been dealing with a labor shortage and quality workers are high demand and low supply. Once they figure that out its gonna be what it is now more or less
Yesss I'll be in japan may 1st
Wow thanks for the update we will be on July 29
Thanks you for update. Can't wait to go to japan in early june 😍😍😍
I’m excited- coming to Japan exactly on 29th- of course still filled all Covid vaccination info and immigration/customs info as per your guidance. Kyoto and Osaka are on my list as well. ❤
All your Japan updates are very helpful. My family are planning to visit Tokyo, Kyoto and Ōsaka in last week of May & first week of June. I’m wondering what the weather would be like during those time in Japan. Thanks 🙏🏽
Thank you
Thank you Lisa
Yes; I can see why Japan would go with Electronic Travel Forms. I hope I can just use paper if I want to, because I once got a huge "roaming charge" from my cell phone provider.
Thanks for the update. I will be arriving in Japan on 4 May 😅 bad move. But anyway Thank you all you service providers working hard on the holidays 🙇♀️. Like Lisa said Japan is trying their best, so got to be patient and do our part to make our trip easier.
Lisa – thank you for the update. i will be arriving at Haneda on May 2 and I have already visited the Japan website. While I understand that the blue screen quarantine clearance is no longer necessary, I understand that I still need my QR codes for immigration and customs. My question – I have printed each of these on pieces of paper and was wondering from Lisa or others if handing these to the appropriate persons on entry will be sufficient. Thanks to all for your feedback. Steve
I fly out tomorrow 😂
not me getting my covid test done today thinking i need it 🙂🙃
I landed in Narita at 4pm on April 1st and we were stuck in the customs line for 6 hours! Would’ve been longer but we skipped the last part of the line since someone complained for us that we had a baby! It was a bit traumatic and I’ll never fly into Narita again!!
Some of our family members flew into Haneda and had a 45 min wait.
Yay! New video with a beautiful woman. Thanks for the update ❤. Also I work for delta airlines as a flight attendant, we still hand out the hard copies if they ask for it.
Already looking forward to plan my second trip after coming back a week ago. Can’t wait for March 2024 😬😬😬
Woooooohooooooo
They never requested to see my blue covid quarantine procedure screen when I traveled there in April 5. Just the two QR codes for customs and immigration.
