Part 8 covers the Baja Divide from Bahía Concepción through the Sierra de la Giganta to La Paz. My cassette rattled loose, I ate some ants, dinged my rim and pulled a muscle in my back descending to San Envariso, but it was all worth it.

Part 9 covering the cape loop coming soon.

  1. Thank you for putting the time and effort into making this available. You certainly capture the beauty of Baja, a place near and dear to my heart. I too hope to do this ride, but I imagine my effort will be in sections with breaks in between. I'm an old guy so I intend to use e-assist which will create logistical issues for sure. I made a mental note of every time I saw power lines in those little villages! But hey, on my first drive in the VW bus down the peninsula in 1982 we had to search out gas. All part of the adventure. Again thanks for the great content and congrats on your achievement.

  2. Nicely done …. you stopped at some of the exact same spots that I did, you were walking into a pool of water after San Javier with a big slab of rocks that I had lunch on. Wish I was down there right now. When did you do your trip ??

  3. What a wonderful trip and a series of brilliant and entertaining videos. Can't wait to get somewhere like that in the saddle, awesome way to travel. Keep up the good work

  4. "A few kilometers from a water source" says the man with a pond behind him! I Always carry a small filtration system & purifying tablets in the desert, could save your life (or someone else's).
