On July 10 2011, the 2nd Uruma Haarii was held at Ishikawa Fishing Port in Uruma City. In this year, more than 80 teams participated dragon boat race. The race has four sections: Residents’ Associations, Adult (Men and Women,) Junior and Women. Participants tried their best and rowed hard under a beautiful sunny sky.
Uruma City is about one hour away from Naha City by car. In summer, many haarii races took place in many parts of the city. The city is surrounded by beautiful nature and is famous for eisa dance and bull fighting. Please visit Uruma city to feel exciting atmosphere!
