Leaving Mistaya Canyon Falls we travel on through beautiful scenery . We soon cross the North Saskatchewan River and then follow the river North. The road climbs up to “The Big Bend” ,where there are many large rocks that have fallen from the mountains , a furthe climb takes us to Bridal Veil Falls where we stop to admire the view.

Leaving Airdrie on Highway 2 south towards Calgary https://youtu.be/DxFazYG-xzA then Joining The stoney Trail Ringroad westwards we Join Highway 1A (the Bow Valley Trail) which is the scenic route to Banff. We pass through Cochrane, Ghost Lake,Exshaw,Canmore https://youtu.be/tG8sp3Ca6bo (where we have to get on Highway 1 to get to Banff.
We stay in Banff for 2 nights, taking a trip on the gondola , a walk through the town and along the Bow River to the Falls.
Leaving Banff we drove Highway 1 (The trans Canada Highway) before joining Highway 1A again(The Bow Valley Parkway) which is the scenic route to Jasper.We pass Castle Mountain, Morants Curve, the Town of Lake Louise before Joining Highway 93(The Icefields Parkway) https://youtu.be/0lCFhNPuYQk. We stop at Herbert Lake , Bow Lake (Crowfoot Glaciaer Viewpoint) https://youtu.be/KE_nFb_kaRw ,The Big Bend with Bridal Veil Falls https://youtu.be/SYgD3UqXVvM & The Athabasca Glacier. We stay in Jasper for 2 Nights returning to the Athabasca Falls . Leaving Jasper on Highway 16 (The Yellowhead Highway) which follows the Fraser river we pass Moose Lake & Mount Robson. We stay 2 Nights in Clearwater visiting The Wells Gray Provincial Park , stopping at The Helmcken Falls, The Mushbowl & Spahats Creek Falls.Leaving Clearwater on Highway 5 we head for Sun Peaks, staying nearby for 2 nights at Heffley Lake. Leaving Heffley Lake we rejoin Highway 5 pass through Kamloops and stop at Kamloops lake then joing Highway 1 to Cache Creek where we stay for 1 Night. We leave Cache Creek on Highway 99 Heading for Whistler ,stopping at Pavillion Lake, Highway 1 follows the Fraser river after Pavillion with some great views. We stop at Duffey Lake Viewpoint & Nairn Falls before reaching Whistler where we stop for 2 nights.While In Whistler we cycle along part of Green lake.
Leaving Whistler on Highway 99 (The Sea To Sky Highway) heading for Vancouver we stop to walk to Brandywine Falls (sadly no Hobbits to be seen) then on to Squamish to stop at the Shannon Falls after Sqaumish the road follows the Howe Sound with some great views.
Reaching Vancouver we stay at Burnaby for 2 nights. We take a walk along Burnaby Lake Park & then a train ride into Vancouver to Stanley Park where we walk the sea wall along Vancouver Harbour under Lions Gate Bridge then Burrard Inlet.
Leaving Vancouver(Burnaby) we take Highway 1 heading for Penticton , we pass Abbotsford,Chilliwack, stop at Bridal Veil Falls at Hope we join Highway 3 This take us through Sunshine Valley and Crowsnet Pass. arriving in Penticton we stay for 2 nights on Skaha Lake. We cycle most of the west side of the lake, there are some lovely views.
Leaving Penticton heading for Revelstoke we head north along the shore of Okanagan Lake on Highway 97(great veiws along the lake) .We stay 2 nights in Revelstoke. We visit the huge Revelstoke dam on the Columbia River.
Leaving Revelstoke we head for Radium Hot Springs on Highway 1 going over Rogers Pass, at Golden we turn onto HIghway 95 . We stay for 2 nights above the town of Radium Hot Sprints. At the Hot springs we walk the Juniper Trail above the gorge (more great views), we then meet a couple that have moments befoe had a close encounter with a black bear! We missed seeing anything, they had a good photo!
To finish off we had a relax in the hot springs.
Leaving Radium Hot Springs on Highway 93 heading for our last overnight stop on the Bow river we enter Kootenay National Park and immediately Pass Through SInclair Canyon ,we stop at Kootenay River valley viewpoint ,Numa Falls ,The Continental Devide then Back to Banff where we go to lake Minnewanka & Two Jacks Lake .We then Join Highway 1(The Trans Canada Highway) Passing Canmore & Dead Mans Flats before stopping near Kananaskis on the Bow river for our last night (geat sunset & rise on the river). Finally we rejoin highway 1 to return the RV – Campervan .
