Wow, we just loved everything going on in Kaikoura, the wildlife, the scenary, the small town vibes. We had some great adventures in this spot, including the seal Colony, Mount Fyffe, Snorkeling, Pods of Dolphins, stacks of Seals.
Hope you enjoy our video.

  1. Pretty special spot ay?! We've got some good memories of the stays we've had in Kaikoura – some awesome bush walks up toward the foot hills too. Hope those caravan brakes are behaving! ๐Ÿ˜‰

  2. Awesome video Leopards. So cool all the seals and dolphins aye. You guys will have to get back sometime and go see the whales (itโ€™s expensive though) or sit and wait on the beach for orca to go past ๐Ÿ™‚
Beast was such a mess, good thing we donโ€™t care aye hehe

  3. So awesome the time you guys got in Kaikoura, awesome to get straight into the seals and dolphins. I thought South Bay would be a bit more your style much closer to the beach. We've just arrived back in Kaikoura for the weekend, still some big waves rolling in but it's calmed down a lot.

  4. Yaya dolphins! Kaikoura is looking good. Glad you were able to sort a Go Pro. Staying on the boat in a cyclone was a bit scary, especially for my cat, poor thing. Thank goodness I wasn't still in my caravan in Waipawa. The camp ground and half of lower Waipawa was flooded out.

  5. Ooh, didn't know about the Mount Fyffe track; thanks for the tip, will defo try that sometime. I'm camping in Kaikoura early March for the Kegkoura beer festival but I'll be too hungover to tackle a 5 hour hike!

  6. Awesome part of NZ and looking at the devastation from the Kaikoura Earthquake the region has finally bounced back. We haven't stayed at South Bay but I looks great having the beach over the road.

  7. so awesome!!! i dont know if i have ever not been amazed from the places you go!! hope the fam is well, thx for sharing!!! chers bro!

  8. Actually – I liked the second photo for the title, but everyone was voting for the first so I didn't bother – but it must have been my super mind powers that got you to use the second!
    Oh and yeah – I got busted by Mrs N – ๐Ÿ˜œ

  9. Another great video Mike. Its great to see how all the kids are loving the outdoor adventures. I love driving down the Kaikoura coast, so impressed with what they have done to stabilize the hillside. I believe the shore line lifted 6 meters in the earthquake. The power of nature

  10. We have a bach in south bay on the water front. It's a nice spot, we go up quite often. Heaps of crays in the sea but quite small. Looks like you got some nice sunny days ๐Ÿ‘Œ

  11. Great vid guys – our daughter was there last summer doing
Kayak tours and loved it- was a great spot when we visited- great drone shots of the dolphins!
