Nakasendo Part 1: The most beautiful town in Japan

Today we start the 5 day hike from Magome Juku to Gunma prefecture. During this walk I’ll travel about 70km in four stages. On the first day we take the time to explore Magome Juku, one of, if not, the most beautiful town in all of Japan. On the second Chako & I walk 8km from Magome to Tsumago, where sadly our roads split. After Tsumago I head towards my guesthouse for the evening, which is an absolutely stunning traditional house. And I end up in a bar with an unexpected suprise…
