I visited Taipei in March 2014 and I can say, the people there are very friendly. Once I never forget when a stall owner even walk far with me to show the vegetarian stall. Whose friendliness could go that far just because of a tourist looking for vegetarian food?

Claw machines are everywhere in Taiwan, you have to invest way more coins or it’s tough to succeed.

Bubble tea x fried chicken is the best combination of Taiwanese street food in my mind, you guys are brilliant

Marriott Courtyard in Taipei is literally sitting on top of a transportation hub that connects you to various parts of Taiwan.
On different basement floors you’ll find (a) A High Speed Rail Station, aka the bullet train; (b) A Traditional Train Station w/wider networks compare to the HSR; (c) A Taipei MRT Station; (d) A Bus & Coach Terminal on the ground floor.
Apart from those fabulous dishes you’ve tried, that restaurant also serves one of the best “dim sum” dishes during lunch hours.

If you wanted to experience the real Taiwan, just try to skip the hotel breakfast. We have breakfast restaurants everywhere, all open very early in the morning. Thery provide veriIous of breakfast, eastern or western styles, but no cereals😂😂. You will be surprised how tasty the breakfast is.
With the Easy Card, you can not only take the MRT subway, bus an train, but also make payments in the convenient stores, such as 7-11. Some stores, restaurants and bubble tea shops take Easy Card, too.

I don't get it – why were you 'shocked'? Do you mean that we, the viewers should be shocked that this is 'click-bait', and the contents are just a monotonous travel-blog, about the all-too-obvious merits of Taiwan, with nothing 'shocking' at all, but in fact, 'soporific'? Maybe the title was intended to announce 'Soporific!': Eg, Mumbling, "this is the area for big suitcases… a safe as well.." WOW! I am shocked!
You can actually top up the Easycard and use it to spend at supermarkets or 7-11

The mask mandate in public transport spaces is actually lifted on April 17th. 🙂 So mask free all over Taiwan now except for Hospitals and medical clinics.
Taiwan is one of the MOST UNDERRATED Countries in the entire world.
