I spent most of the day seeing the sights in Hamamatsu. Hamamatsu Castle and Hamamatsu Flower Park were very enjoyable. Then I took a quick train ride to Kakegawa to see the castle there. It is one of the few castles that escaped complete demolition at the close of the Edo Period.
