Climbing Mount Fuji in Japan ᴴᴰ

Not the best way to start a mountain climb: we failed to meet our tour guide on time (because I and my high school friend, Donna, got lost in Shinjuku).

So, we took a bus bound for 5th Station of Mount Fuji (starting point for all climbers) and did the climb on our own. While we could have climbed it in 5-6 hours, because of the sporadic rains, we arrived at our sleeping hut close to 8PM already.

Nonetheless, climbing Mt. Fuji during summertime in Japan was a great experience. How about you guys? Have you tried climbing Japan’s iconic mountain? Tell us your thoughts at the comments section below.
