Our Travel Department holiday from Ireland to Riva Del Garda is drawing to a close. This is the final day.
Here we are making one last exploration of Garda’s hinterland by taking a mountain drive into the Low Alps above the town. Our first stop was to the artist’s village of Borgo di Canale high above our base in Riva Del Garda. Then we drive on stopping by a roadside restaurant to sample tea and apple strudel. the outside balcony of the cafe looks over a gorge to a rock face. we are amazed to spot two ant like climbers half way up the near vertical slope.
I’ve tried to locate where we were on google maps I will try again. Does anyone know?
