Thai Airways flight experience in Economy class, onboard the Boeing 777-300, from Sapporo (Chitose) to Bangkok (Suvarnabhumi) as TG671.
Originally, my family and myself were meant to be on this flight the day before. However, due to the snowstorm two days before Christmas, it was very hectic queueing/lining up to the bus to travel to New Chitose Airport on Christmas Eve arriving at the airport way later than usual. Although the flight back was delayed for two hours on Christmas Eve, we still missed the flight. This was the first time that I missed my flight and it was a nightmare for me.
But luckily, my father booked a hotel near the airport the last minute so we could stay for another night there. The next morning, we checked out of the hotel at six and took a shuttle bus to the airport. During the check-in, we were so relieved that we finally got our flight back to Bangkok.
When travelling in Hokkaido, I would highly suggest you to stay at the hotel near the airport the day before you fly in case of any unexpected snowstorm there.
Anyway, onto the topic:
This flight takes 6 hours and 45 minutes, in which a lunch and refreshment is provided. Service is warm and in a mannerly way. I enjoyed the lunch served as well as the refreshment. I watched a couple of movies on the rather ancient-looking PTV screen. It was an enjoyable flying experience overall, onboard Thai Airways.
