The students at NILS Japanese Language School take a day trip to Dazaifu Temple, in Fukuoka Prefecture, Japan. Dazaifu is famous for students in Japan, who come from all across the country to pray to pass their entrance exams to Universities. In this short video (due to lack of other native English Speakers on the trip) Micaela herself tells us a bit about the experience.

I'm so awkward.
I think thats natural, I dont really know how you do it at all. Making a film is so much easier when you have a crew and pro equipement because its like your doing a job.
and People act differently around you, it must be tough just you on your own and a video camera.
P.S I enjoyed the video, got to see a side of Japan people dont really talk about, its nice to see something that isnt look at the Japanese arent they so wierd.
It really doesnt help that my camera is just a little handicam, If I had a big expensive one, I bet people would take me a little more seriously 😉
It makes a huge difference, when we went out filming people would come up to us if we were with the BBC and when the program would be on, to which we had to reply that it was just a student project and wouldnt be on tv.
It probably wouldnt have the same effect on your friends but atleast they'd see it as a serrious film.

I know it may be late….but the two fingers really means victory in China people do this when taking photos…that's why I guess the other students are Chinese coz I heard one of 'em speaking Chinese at the very beginning. Also 2 fingers behind other's head can be considered as kinda trick cos you will look like a bunny bunny…
