This is nice to know. I also found walking around the Imperial Palace in Kyoto was fairly quiet. I mean, there are lineups to get in, but it moves fast, and the insides of the walls are quite spacious, so you're not feeling like you're being crowded out. On the other hand, places like Golden Pavilion are insane busy lol. I also chose during my last Kyoto visit to take a train ride north of the city to an onsen in Kurama, in 2019. It was a nice ride through the mountains, and the onsen itself wasn't too busy. They even had a van shuttle to take people to and from the onsen and the train station. Sadly, it looks like they've been closed for a couple of years.

Oh, no. Just been to Kyoto yesterday, I wish I saw this video earlier. Probably go back again 😂 Again love your videos, maybe a little more food.😂

I went to Byodoin today after visiting Nara. What a great temple, LOVE it so much. I hope they can fix all the wall paintings soon. Only problem is they don't have an English guide for the Phoenix Hall. Thank you again for your recommendation, Lisa.
