  1. Hello, interesting news. I wonder, is is possible to buy the pass now at lower price and use it say in November?

  2. I said it last time. And I'll say it again. Just keeps concentrating all the tourists into fewer and fewer areas which is the exact opposite of what should be intended.

  3. Thanks got I'll be visiting japan in juin. Just a quick question: does the JR pass include the Fuji Excursion Limited Express train fees please!?

  4. Well, looks like I'll have to take buses on the next trip HAHAHAHAHAH
But if you think about it, they haven't increased the values in the last 15 years, so the new values kind of make a little bit of sense.
To be honest, I'm curious to see how this will impact the tourism in Japan. I believe this will "force" tourists and guides to start going to other prefectures besides the Tōkaidō line.
    Thanks for the info!
PS: Now I want to see more videos of your dog on the channel! 😂

  5. I love to Japan train station, can I know if I enter a certain train station let say Tokyo train station. Will I be charge any train fare if I just walk around inside the train station for about 1 hour and then exit the train station?

  6. Thanks for the update. I'll be visiting Japan in August, God willing, so it won't affect me. 😊Sorry for those travelling after October. 😢

  7. This news is actually crushing to my group. We were planning on going in January/February, so it's right after the cutoff line where we would be able to buy the JR Pass voucher 3 months in advance 😢

  8. This is so sad to hear. We just got back from Japan and enjoyed using our JR pass and were looking forward to having this bargain again when we return hopefully in the fall of next year. Your videos are so informative and helped us plan our recent trip. Thanks for all that you share!

  9. Wow price increase is steep. You have to go on at least one long distance rt per week to make it worth it.

  10. Just returned from a long-awaited 2-weeks trip and heading this summer to catch all the fireworks, probably the last time for awhile.

  11. This is not great. I wonder if i buy the pass in september to use it in october when i go to Japan it will be the old price or i will have to pay more when i arrive.

  12. Price increase is justifiable, after all it's stayed the same price for so many years. But the increase is very steep though. I just came back from Japan. Went to Tokyo, Kyoto, Kanazawa and Shirakawago. Hokuriku arch pass works for this route but it's only a 7 day pass so you can't stay long in one city, and it makes sense if you are stopping in other cities while you travel from Tokyo to Osaka or vice versa. The Hokuriku shinkansen from Tokyo to Osaka and vice versa will take at least 5hr+. I love the new Hokuriku shinkansen!

  13. This is really going to hurt the smaller towns and places people dont normally go. When I have the pass I explore lots of places I wouldn’t normally go. Hopefully they will see what happens and adjust.

  14. Hello, I will be making a trip to Japan on 20 November 2023. If I were to buy my JR rail pass 2 months in advance, will I be paying the old or new price for it? Thank you

  15. I read about it last night😮… Good thing I m buying 2 passes for use thisJune n July..
