Okayama Korakuen Garden was built by the local daimyo about 300 years ago. Together with Kenrokuen in Kanazawa City and Kairakuen in Mito City, it is considered one of the Three Great Gardens of Japan.
There are historical buildings such as “Enyotei” and “Noh stage” on the open site of about 13 hectares.
The large lawns, ponds, artificial hills, and teahouses are connected by garden paths and waterways, so you can enjoy the changing scenery of the four seasons.
Korakuen, which has received a three-star rating in the Michelin Green Guide Japan, is loved by many people from all over the world.
