Naoshima is an island in Kagawa Prefecture floating in the Seto Inland Sea and is known as an island of art, with contemporary art museums, architecture, and sculptures.
Naoshima’s Chichu Art Museum, Lee Ufan Museum and Benesse House Museum were designed by world-renowned architect Tadao Ando.
In addition to the museum, there are works by many artists such as Yayoi Kusama and Walter de Maria on the island, so it’s fun to walk around looking for them.
