Let’s get lost in some of the back alleys and side streets in Taito and Arakawa Ward in Tokyo! Lots of old neighborhoods with winding alleys to explore. It’s easy to get lost in these parts! Let’s try to find some old and run-down places covered in vines or other homes with lots of greenery and stuff.

I apologize for no sound from 1:54:14 – 1:55:41. There was a subtle song playing in the background and it got flagged for copyright. It wasn’t even that loud or clear what song it was, but YouTube’s unfair copyright flagging system tagged it and ruined my monetization for this live stream. So to fix that, I just muted that section of the video. I’m sorry!

  2. Good morning (my time in USA). Now I know why I don't see your live streams, I'm always in bed already. Looking forward to another fun tour video.

  3. In your travels to Tokyo, have you ever seen the area where the the Netflix series "midnight Diner' was filmed? If you haven't watched , it's very good. About a diner open from midnight to 7:00 am, and the stories about the people who go there to eat, plus they give you a short lesson at the end on how to make the recipes the patrons eat. Really nice series.
PS–I aim taking some Japanese lessons and understand some of what you asked the lady at the bakery….but not all. :D. I heard Ohayo gozaimasu, ima, and a few other words. What does "Moto shotto" mean?

  4. Loved how the lady with the Shiba Ina outside the cafe gave the man passing by treats to feed to her dog! And I laughed when you finally found a park after you ate the cake, which looked amazing by the way!

  5. I’m watching the replay Cory this was a great live. The cake looked so good. Not sure if any of you don’t know but you can get a paid version of you tube that will remove the ads. Just a FYI.
