    The Place that caught my attention are the Rented Spaces under the train bridges, that would be a big no to our local government in my country. Our government would just cover it with ugly fences, to keep away vagabonds and kids..such a waste.

    If you get a chance ,watch Tokyo Vice starring Ken Watanabe .Based on true events about an American journalist in Tokyo . Season 1 recently finished in the UK on the BBC.Highly recommended.

    The usual filthy streets strewn with litter, populated with drunkards and pimps going about their seedy business.
    There us barely room to walk with all the stupid hoardings, bins and trash bags taking priority over pedestrians who ate left to weave their way around endless blockages.
    You may not be assaulted by vagabonds but your eyes will be scorched out of your head by competing LEDs. They want u our attention as do all the girls standing about looking guilty. They want your attention but they also want not to be seen to be wanting your attention. Their complete silence is in complete contrast to the groups of girls who are actually going anywhere
    In most countries every pole, stop sign, street light, traffic light and direction gets peed on by dogs but in Tokyo they get tagged with signs advertising, private business posters and all manner of tidy graffiti. It is the cheapest sleaziest slummiest messiest city posing as something to be proud of. Are they all blind to it?
    It lacks thecivic pride that Japan is famous for. Everyone is too busy to see it.
