2 hours by train from Tokyo main station with the limited express Wakashio, you will find the small but exiting Kamogawa Sea World. It is located very picturesque with the Pacific Ocean coast line directly to one side. There are available free shuttle buses just next to the Awa-Kamogawa train station and it takes only 5 minutes to reach the Sea World. (Note that the buses are on the other side of the track, so you have to take the stairs and cross the tracks.). After paying the entrance fee all the shows and special exibitions are included.
The main attraction in my opinion of the Kamogawa Sea World is their whale shows with Dolphins, Orcas and White Whales. They have also a sea lion show.
Of other very interesting things to see is the Tropical Island expedition with a huge aquarium that is made like a beach section full of the most beautiful fishes. You can walk along the aquarium with from 2 m water to when you reach dry land. They also have a spectacular selection of beautiful jellyfish.
If you are there at closing time the view to the Pacific Ocean and to see the waves brake at the beach just next to the Sea World with the sun setting is spectacular.
I can highly recommend this place. If you are in Tokyo you should take a daytrip to see it.
You can get more information on the Kamogawa Sea World on their webpage:

The video contains stills and HD video. A note to especially Japanese viewers: The original sound from the show contained a copyrighted piece of music, so I had to edit the soundtrack a bit to avoid legal issues.

Apex ocean predators should not be kept in captivity for human amusement.
The attitude of many Japanese towards ocean creatures is disgraceful.
Don't go to seaworld or any venue that keeps animals in unnatural conditions for your misguided amusement.
It never ceases to amaze me how so many countries build these tiny pools just minutes from the ocean, sometimes within sight of it.
It's ridiculous that people in the stands can literally SEE where the orcas should be, but they'd rather watch them do circus tricks in this swimming pool.
.Kamogawa's orcas are all Icelandic and part of a pod with Stella who is still a live, they could be released or put in a sanctuary without much disruption to the park. This can't be allowed to happen as to spread the hybrid and aggressive genes to another park is wrong and could jepordise the safety of the trainers at Kamogawa and Port of Nagoya. 4 people have been killed by Seaworld orcas. Please sign the petition at the end of this article to stop this. http://captivecetaceans-tragicallysad.blogspot.co.uk/2014/11/kamogawa-to-ai-orcas-with-seaworlds.html
do they swim with the orca?
I like how they keep the orca movements natural unlike the American sea worlds that make the orcas do ridiculous flips. They do a simple breach and tail lifts. I bet it's much easier on the orcas stress not having to do backflips
very stupid entertainment. That is animal cruelty
