I recently returned from a dream bucket list cruise to Antarctica. It was absolutely spectacular. Leaving from Buenos Aires, we had quite a long journey to reach the bottom of the world and come back — and during the voyage we experienced several days and nights of heavy, jarring seas. Many of the passengers on the ship were so seasick, some were unable to enjoy the epic majesty of the views of Antarctica. It’s a long journey — and it’s an expensive journey. Motion sickness shouldn’t be the reason that an adventure like this gets ruined — especially when there’s a simple solution that works for many people.

In this video, I’ll explain a family preventative remedy that we’ve used for generations. I can’t guarantee that it will work for you, but it sure is worth giving it a try.

I shared this recipe with several other passengers on the cruise, and I made a promise to post it as soon as I got home. Promise kept, as this is my first post about Antarctica. I hope this helps everyone on future cruises.

Let me know in the comment section below how it worked for you, or if you have any other family remedies that you’ve used before.

Happy sailing, my friends!
