GANDAK BARRAGE – TRIVENI DHAM | Nepal India Border ( त्रिवेणी धाम,नेपाल )



Triveni Dhaam Nawalpur- also called as Gajendra Moksha Divya Dham.Trinity of three rivers,Birth Place of Lava Kusha, ,Samadhi of Sita, and is a sacred Hindu pilgrimage site dedicated to the Goddess Kushmanda Bhagwati.
Narayani-Gandak Barrage built after the agreement signed between Government of Nepal and Government of India in 1959 and revised in 1964.

सोना, नारायणी र तपसा नदीको संगमस्थलमा प्रसिद्ध त्रिवेणी धाम पर्दछ .यो नवलपरासी जिल्लाको सुस्ता पर्दछ.त्रिवेणी धाम हिन्दु समुदायको महत्पुर्ण ऐतिहासिक एवं पुरातात्विक धार्मिक स्थल हो.

    7:22 There are more mountains & narayani river on south side of that highway near to Daunne Devi mandir. I think it was more feasible route than crossing mountains and narayani river which is dangerous during flood seasons. Also, it gave access to popular daunne devi mandir.
