Chapter 1 – Valley of The Kings

The Valley of the Kings served as a burial ground for ancient Egyptian royals and wealthy individuals. Situated on the west bank of the Nile river in Luxor, Egypt, the site contains more than 60 tombs, including those of prominent pharaohs such as Tutankhamun, Ramses II, and Seti I.

Chapter 2 – Temple of Queen Hatshepsut

It was built over 3,500 years ago for Queen Hatshepsut, one of Egypt’s most successful pharaohs, and is considered one of the most impressive architectural achievements of ancient Egypt. The temple is characterized by its unique design, featuring three tiers of colonnaded terraces cut into the cliffside of the Theban mountains.

Chapter 3 – Medinet Habu, Temple of Ramesses III

The Temple of Ramesses III, also known as Medinet Habu, is an ancient Egyptian structure located in Luxor, Egypt. Built more than 3,000 years ago during the reign of Pharaoh Ramesses III, the temple was primarily used as a mortuary temple and was dedicated to various deities, including the god Amun.

Chapter 4 – Karnak Temple

The construction of this temple complex spanned over 2,000 years, from the Middle Kingdom to the Ptolemaic period, and it is dedicated to the god Amun. With an area of more than 100 hectares, Karnak is the largest temple complex in the world and comprises a vast number of chapels, temples, and shrines. Its most striking architectural features include the Great Hypostyle Hall, which has an astonishing 134 columns, and the Obelisk of Hatshepsut, which is one of the tallest standing obelisks in Egypt.

Chapter 5 – Luxor Temple

The temple is composed of a series of courtyards, halls, and sanctuaries, all beautifully decorated with towering columns, intricate carvings, and impressive statues. Some of its most notable features are the Avenue of Sphinxes, which used to stretch over three kilometers from the temple to Karnak Temple, and the Colonnade of Amenhotep III, boasting 14 enormous columns. Additionally, the temple served as the venue for the annual Opet Festival, which was a celebration of the pharaoh’s divine conception and the renewal of his power.

Chapter 6 – Cruising Down the Nile River

The world’s longest river, the Nile, runs northward through ten nations in northeastern Africa, including Ethiopia, Sudan, and Egypt. We plan to enjoy the sunset while also taking a break at Banana Island.

Chapter 7 – Luxor Museum

Luxor Museum is a contemporary museum situated on the eastern side of the Nile River in Luxor, Egypt. Established in 1975, the museum showcases an extensive array of ancient Egyptian artifacts that date back to the Old Kingdom up to the Greco-Roman era.

  1. So amazing! Even better than the one in Vegas and you don't have to see annoying posters of Chris Angel everywhere too! 😉 Also, it's pronounced "Hatshesut". Come on, man! lol

  2. Great video. We are heading to Luxor next week. Can you please let me know which company you booked your taxi and tour guide ? how much does it cost per day?

    Thank you in advance.

  3. Excellent! I like that you feature the area more then yourself. Most people just shoot themselves talking about the place they are in.
