  1. I remember the days when you had to really pull hard to get the little doors to open. They were like spring-loaded so you had to use force. But, if you had fatty fingers from a previous snack, sometimes the tiny handle on the door would slip through your fingers and it would snap back to closed position. This being NL, of course you wouldn't get your money back. Better luck next time! 😀

  2. My favourite food in Amsterdam was the falafel!!! Thanks for bringing new food to try to my attention 🙂 You both look great and happy here ❤

  3. Thank you guys!
I love how relaxing, fun ,and educational you both are.
    Always make my day better.

  4. Absolutely love FEBO, my favourite is the Kalfsvleeskroket. Btw it got pretty expensive since the last time a was there 😅I hope you'll try a Broodje Haring or Kibbeling at Frens Haringhandel

  5. "Very fun to buy" haha
My favorites are the bami kroket (which most people seem to not be crazy about haha) and the sate kroket. I love the combination of the Indonesian flavors with the deep fried breading on the outside.

  6. Next time, you have to try the Specialje! I think a lot of people skip it because it's name is not descriptive, but it's like a really juicy meatloaf with bits of onion, and then deep-fried. Deeply addictive!! FYI – "FEBO" is named this way as it originated on the Ferdinand Bolstraat in De Pijp district, down where your earlier video near the Albert Cuyp market.

  7. I really miss frikendel broodje or kaasaflay. Kroket. Frikendel met onion en curry sauce met mayo. Lekker🎉

  8. Damn. I already live close to the border, but the nearest FEBO is still around 90 mins for me. A bit far for my taste 😅 Would have loved to try it

  9. 'Frikandel' is separator meat in the shape of a sausage. But very fine cut meat with lots of spices so it tastes richer than it actually is.
The Dutch eat Frikandel with Mayonaise, Dutch Curry sauce, raw unions. They probably eat these with mayo and ketchup too. Specialty is 'The Jos Brinky', a Frikandel with Saté sauce and, but not always, Mayonaise.
    – Another popular product is the Berenhap. That's a meat ball cut in three slices and between the slice there are Union rings. After sticking these on a bamboo pin all is deep fried and served with Saté sauce. Sometime roasted fried unions are added.
    – The 'Kroket' or 'Croquet' comes in many verities: Beef, Veal, Saté, Shrimp, Goat Cheese (Vega), Vegetable (Vega), Old Amsterdam Cheese, and just Potato.
    – One Kroket = 2,5 Bitterball. These are served on parties, birthdays and local bars. Just to have a bite with your beer or wine.

    – Did you guys try Dutch chips from brands like Lays and Croky? These are coming in a lot of flavor too. The most popular are 'Paprika', 'Natural' and 'Bolognese'. But there is a 'mix all the FEBO sauces together' flavored one called 'Joppie'. You can also buy real Joppie sauce at the store.

  10. FYI the bami, nasi and saté at snackbars have their base in Indonesia a former Dutch colony
If you haven't try a Bossche Bol (chocolate covered cream pastry) One of the best things to have as a desert

  11. Maybe I missed it but you should announce, in a dedicated video, where you are going to visit. You could meet and greet with local fans and be directed to the right places!!!

  13. Everything looked interesting and I’d love to try them all! But I think my favorite would be the Kaassouffle. I love cheese so fried, breaded cheese sounds delicious!!

  14. So great to see you taste all the famous Dutch snacks! My favorite is bami and frikandel, but then as “frikandel speciaal” with mayonnaise, curry sauce and raw onions. You should try this when you come back!

  15. Rice croquettes exist in Italy almost since rice was brought from Asia.
"Arancino, Arancina and Supplì": the different names determin shape, region and igredients, but the base is always rice.

  16. OMG, I love this, vending machine Dutch food. As you know I am a huge fan of your vending machine food videos, thank you so much for sharing 😉

  17. I've always been jealous of the vending machines in Japan but now you got me jealous of the Netherlands. Everything you had looked really good and the fact that it's all made fresh. Wow!
I wish we had good vending machines in America like these.

  18. A Dutch automat! Cool! My grandma took me to one in NY when I was small. My first time trying chocolate creme pie. 😋 Most of this style restaurant have closed in the USA but my husband found a new chain trying to make a comeback in NYC. I wonder if they survived the pandemic. I hope so. I love this dining concept.

  19. Why don't you post all the videos in 1 channel? Tabieats and Shinichi's World are so alike that it only makes things confusing for your subscribers.

  20. I highly recommend also visiting Utrecht, it's the 'hometown' of Miffy and it's lovely to explore! Enjoy 🇳🇱

  21. Welkom in Nederland! Nice to see you in my country😄 I hope enjoy your stay😃

  22. Ah, the good old-fashioned automat. Kind of like a vending machine, except there's a kitchen behind it where the food is prepared fresh.

  23. Satoshi's far away, thousand yard stare while muttering "I need a beer" is the most relatable thing ever.

  24. That's a small kass souffle for 3 Euros. I love Bami and Kass soufle. But I need bigger portions!

  25. Hey guys…what a coincidence.. yesterday i decided to look on youtube to see if, by any chance, there were some new "tasting Dutch snacks"videos.
And i rewatched one of your previous videos…so i just clicked your channel ,and was pleasantly suprised to see that u posted a new Dutch related food video 2 days ago…NICE!!!
If u are still in the Netherlands and u happen to come across a Febo or snackbar ,u should defenitly try a "saté-rol" it's kinda like a eggroll but with saté inside.
If u like the frikandel u should also try the "mexicano"…it's good on it's own ,but i normaly have it with saté (peanut) sauce
