Japan Airlines Boeing 747-400 Fleet History (1990-2011)

Hey everyone! Welcome back to another video! Today this video’s topic is about the 747-400 of Japan Airlines. This plane came in two versions for the airline, standard and domestic. For those of you who don’t know, the 747-400 domestic (747-400D) was put into an all-economy layout with similar service routes that were relatively similar to their 747SRs. Unfortunately, these birds’ lives were cut short due to financial troubles for JAL, causing them to retire older, non-fuel-efficient aircraft.
