Met up with my Japanese friend at Arima-Onsen back in December. We got to know each other during a working holiday in Australia a few years back at a Korean language exchange. Funnily, we mainly use Korean to converse even though her first language is Japanese and mine is English. Somehow it works although the language barrier is reaaaaal.
Arima-Onsen was a nice place for a day trip. It’s not too far from Kobe and it was pretty easy to get to. We had no choice but to go on a Tuesday but choose another day to go if you can. Too many things are closed on Tuesdays 😅
