In Japan, cherry blossoms, or Sakura, are considered a symbol of spring.
The plum blossoms are unmissable for both Japanese and foreign tourists.
In Japan, plum trees bloom from February to March (cherry blossoms bloom from late March to early April).
This event takes place in Inabe agricultural park in the city of Inabe, Mie prefecture (1 hour from Nagoya by car).
The festival takes place annually from from the middle of February until the end of March
(In 2023, from February 23 until March 21) .
