Gorgeous room! Very old world/classic design! As a Westerner, I've never heard of a heated toilet seat, lol – that must be a Japanese thing! haha. Thx for sharing again!
Although the breakfast at the intercontinental in Bordeaux is not bad it's still nothing compared to the breakfast variety and selection you get at a 5 star hotel in Asia. Also in Asia usually hotel guests are offered a choice between intercontinental breakfast and an Asian breakfast. Overall I personally still prefer to stay at a 4 or 5 star hotel in Asia over staying at a similar ranking hotel in Europe.

Love Intercontiential hotels especially when you get upgraded! I’ve paid $500 AUD at a hotel at Gold Coast so this would be nice too maybe not every night though
In grander hotels, you will find individual lights. I find it is nicer than having one switch for all of the lights. I'm glad you had a nice stay there

Very nice video! Living in Germany, I have spent many holidays in the Bordeaux area, albeit at the Atlantic coast, about 60 km out west. There are not many luxury hotels, but lovely forests and lakes, and the ocean, of course.

As a person who works nights, I really appreciate a room that lets no light in what-so-ever. Was very odd that you had to shut off every light though, that seemed annoying. Very beautiful hotel, thank you for showing it to us.
