Statue of Okubo Toshimichi (Kagoshima City, Japan) – Contributor to Meiji Restoration –

Okubo Toshimichi is the great contributor to the Meiji Restoration and modernization of Japan. He was assassinated in 1878 just 1 year after the death of his friend, Saito. His statue looks as if he is crying in the rain.
