In this walk I explore city center area.
On this day the ground was almost like ice board. It was so hard not to fall.

In the first half I show you a retro shopping street, named “Asahikawa Ginza (銀座)”.
On the street you can find many local shops like fruit & vegetable stand or boutique, shopping mall and so on.

In the latter half you can see many Japanese style bars, restaurants, red-light streets.
And also some high rated BBQ restaurant. When you visit this city, I recommend you explore around here.

Enjoy your walk!

  1. @43:45 We were there about 2 weeks ago at that exact spot. For a short winter visit, we really liked Asahikawa. Thank you for sharing.

  2. So interesting that the stores still put things in front, even when it is -5 out. Very genki shoppers in Asahikawa. Thanks for your notes about the ginza, that was interesting. Stay safe in the cold and snow!
