Thanks for joining us again everyone, back with one last episode from Ueno Park in Tokyo, Japan! This time around we’re trying out the Suntory Strong Zero Lemon Flavor drink; this is a cocktail in a can, marketed as a ready to drink (or RTD) cocktail! In Japan, this stuff is called Chu-Hi (or, more officially, Chūhai), and as Japan’s laws generally tax based upon malt content of a beverage and NOT alcohol percentage (under 9% ABV, anyway), these things are a bargain – a great way to get tipsy for cheap! Enjoy the video – Kampai!!

  1. This thing wrecked my last trip to Japan. I spent a week drunk in a Yuzawa onsen instead of visiting anything. And it looks like I'm doing the same thing at the moment… from Shinjuku, Tokyo.

  2. Lol "that was inevitable anyway". I am sipping down one of these now, googled it to see what it was about 🙂

  3. These were so good to have in the summer heat. The grape fruit flavoured was my fav. Bottomed down three in a row before i realised that it had 9% alcohol. Turned out to be a nice evening tho. 😀

  4. In my many years of drinking in Japan, the Kirin Hyoketsu line stood out as the most delicious to me (especially grapefruit), but you really can't go wrong with any in this genre (including Suntory Zero).

  5. Горькая гадость. Лучше купить ром и колу и кусочек лимона. 🙂

  6. このお酒は日本でとても人気があります!少しアルコールが強いかもしれません^ ^
    また日本に来てくださいね!

  7. Great vid, mate. I drank plenty of these in Tokyo, the grapefruit being my fav. Family Mart sold them for like 150円 apiece, and at that price, for how good they taste yet how well they do their job, Strong Zero can't be beat.

  8. Accidentally drank this thinking it was tonic water, didn’t get drunk nor did I know it was alcohol until I finished the whole thing then felt a little light headed.

I forgot to mention I was 13 years old

  9. I love this, lucky I tried this when I was in osaka, and it cost only 120yen, what a way to get drunk

  10. I love these. They've gotten me in trouble when I was stationed in Yokosuka with the Navy. We would slam 4 on a Friday after work on our way to Tokyo. And we'd puke all over the train station….man I love these things.

  11. I love these. I tried the lychee one and it was the most awesome drink I have ever tasted. Of course I got a bit tipsy in the end. But that's what makes it even better 😄

  12. Park Drinks in Japan led to classic activities like Konbini Run, Konbini Hopping or Crawl and Konbini Bar. All seasons.
