This is Japan! A place we have been desperate to travel since we can remember, and finally, we’ve made it! We flew 14 hours from London to Tokyo before taking a famous bullet train south west to Osaka, the food capital of Japan. This city is famous for its street food, especially in the Dotonburi area of Osaka. We are travelling the country for the next 3 weeks with G Adventures, starting in Osaka and hitting everywhere from Hiroshima to Kyoto, Tokyo to Mount Fuji. Welcome to Japan! 🇯🇵

    I am so glad to see you in beautiful, clean and wonderful Japan! Don't laugh but be sure to check out the incredibly tasty and reasonably priced hot and cold food at 7-11 and Family Mart. Matt and Julia, what a joy it is to be along with you in Japan, I am most excited to see how life is lived as you see it. I have been to Asia but not to Japan so far and would dearly love to go. Thank you for that introduction and what you are eating is so appetizing. The world is so exciting! .. and now that I keep watching, I spot a cream colored knit cardigan. Lovely! As is the octopus!

    Incredibly beautiful country! City scenes did look like a shot of a video game (sim city?) When Julia said lets go get some 'real food', i just knew we were going to see a western fast food joint ( sorry no free advertising from me). I just pray that no one adds a warning about looking out for a 'fire breathing green dinosaur'. So cliche! Looking forward to 'our trip' with you. Be safe… with love from Chris.

    It is lovely to be able to see you in Japan, I will never get to visit there in spite of wanting to all my life! And now it is too late but by the magic of YouTube and people like you two I can visit anyway, even if I cannot taste! I loved your yellow sweater Hulia, and now want one in exactly that colour, it is fabulous and you look cosy and comfortable in it. Unlike some commenters I do not mind seeing the masked people, I had Covid in the first wave, and have permanently damaged lungs, am lucky to be alive. A lot of people get long Covid which is not a great thing to have, and they may have to live with that for many years or even for the rest of their lives. Masking definitely helps. Besides different strains develop in different places, so why not be careful. But enough of that for now, I am not dogmatics, just think some approaches anti and otherwise are. Japan had experience of other pandemics, so they are ahead of us in some ways. Thanks for taking us with you, the two of you always offer new insights wherever you are, and with good humour and enthusiasm for life. I hope this trip, the Japanese part of it was as great for you, as it is for me as a vicarious late night under the covers traveller!

    p.s. avoid a negative comments or even as content , but I know your not of that type, like what I also followed of Russians vlogs. She use to be nice , prudent on her words on her Russia & Europian travel vlogs but Im surprised on her emphasis on a Middle East country from its weather to lifesstyles to whereabouts of its people / natives , etc. As a TRAVEL vlogger she must not compare RUussia her nest to others , I thought she is educated. Just a friendly advise because your nice.
