I hit up a shop called “there is ramen” in Ogukubo, Tokyo with my friend  @AndyLifeInVideo  . This was a chill day of slurping and having some beers. What could be better?

  1. How come your videos don't get as many views, makes no sense why you're not at over 500k subscribers

  2. Every time I go to Japan. I don’t go to the usual touristy chains like Ichiran, Ippudo or Rokurinsha (though they are good restaurants), I always look for the back alley or none tourist streets small ramen shops that regular salary men goes to. There are good, some bad and some fine gems. It’s the adventure actually that brings an extra ingredient to a fine ramen bowl.

Thanks for giving fine recommendations to look forward to.

  3. Do you ever feel concerned about the amount of salt you're consuming when you do these ramen runs? Based on google I found that a whole bowl of ramen in japan can exceed your daily recommended salt intake (depending on the ramen style of course). I enjoy your videos, keep it up.

  4. It feels like the trend is to take a step or two back from the gourmet style that was popular in the 2010s.

  5. Live streams would be awesome.
BTW I saw that your friend that created Kodowari Ramen in Paris is helping Alex (was Alex French Guy Cooking?) to raise his ramen game.

  6. Could you please consider to do a ramen video near train station? (Tourist with tight itinerary) thank you and please keep up the good work !

  7. Been watching your channel for years now and I don’t think I ever left a comment. I just wanted to let you know I love your channel! You and a few others, like Frank from 5 am Ramen and Susuru, eventually gave me the confidence to travel to Japan and hunt ramen. Now I’ve been to almost 300 shops over the course of my 7 or so visits to Japan. I’ve recently (4 days ago) retired from the Army and now plan to really ramp up my trips to Japan with the main purpose of ramen hunting! I returned from Japan just 5 days ago where I destroyed 59 bowls of Ramen in 13 days! Keep up the great work and maybe one day I’ll bump into you at a ramen shop!

  8. 3:20 Whoa, you look like my favorite recording artist of all time "Weird Al" Yankovic right here, almost exactly like how he looked in his music video White & Nerdy lol!👍 I'm planning a trip to Japan later this year because I've been watching your great and informative videos for almost 2 years and I need to finally go there for a week or two and try all the best ramen shops you've reviewed. I'll do it right after I go to Philippines to have authentic lechon which I'm doing July this year. There is no distance too great for me to travel to have the best authentic food in any country!
