A rather long time ago (back in spring, to be exact) the duck and I journeyed north, to Akita prefecture, for a change of pace and to get a feel of early spring since we had pretty much missed the peak of the sakura season in Tokyo. Accompany us on a leisurely stroll around Lake Tazawa and a cherry blossom chase in the samurai town of Kakunodate.
