Avoid this road in Vietnam ➡️ https://youtu.be/bAmi8cAGGxE
Phu Quoc Island in Vietnam has a lot to offer – Let’s explore!

I am still on Phu Quoc, the biggest island in Vietnam. In the previous episode I took you to a beautiful beach called star fish beach. The road to get there was a bit questionable though. In today’s video from Phú Quốc I will show you another beautiful and popular beach, where we can get some Vietnam street food and I am also taking you hiking here on Phu Quoc. The hike was not that easy, but definitely worth it with a very rewarding view in the end. That is the Vietnam I came to see!

I am Ken Abroad, a full-time traveler traveling southeast Asia. It is my goal here on the channel to visit every country in southeast Asia and bring you along the journey.
You won’t see many tourist places in my videos, I rather like to show the “real” sides of each country in my videos. Where do the local people go to eat? Where do they hang out? How do the locals travel through the country? Stuff like that.

  1. Not really feeling the vibe of this place. Then again Vietnam is not my cup of tea anyway. Hoping the next country comes soon 🤣Sorry about that Ken

  2. Vietnamese here, the words on the tomb on the top of the mountain said "Tiên Sơn Đỉnh", which means Tiên Sơn mountain, its the name of the mountain

  3. The yellow stuff you ate on the beach is called "há cảo", fried little dumplings with grounded pork inside

  4. Yeah am watching now second half yeah hiking really is great workout like this in Ph hills nice to be sweating 😂 and you did this alone in Vietnam ? Yeah i can't am afraid some strange people or ghost there might appear yeah i could run 😂

When Filipinos hike like this we say to ghosts tabi-tabi po (excuse, Excuse po) 😂 like asking permission to the strange place coz if you don't they might follow you at home and suddenly get fever 😂😂😂😀

  5. Hi Ken…very Happy to see that your very near to 200k subscribers…..😍
    Your big fan from Srilanka…
    Come again to Srilanka ❤️

  6. Thanks for taking us on this journey. The beach, the hills, the offbeaten paths.. even the experiences you feel when you communicate with the locals. Stay safe and ride safely out there. Cheers mate!

  7. Hope to be back in SE Asia later this year. Taking notes and hoping to follow in at least some of your footsteps!

  8. Please spend time to visit Hội An ancient city, Nha Trang beach city, Hue imperial Ninh Binh has Vinh Hạ Long , so beaitiful in viet nam, i think that will make your time in vietnam really worth it. So many good foood nice place in viet nam that you have not discovered in viet nam yet

  9. Beautiful Beach Ken! I enjoy your videos. Thanks for having us along. Safe travels my friend😊

  10. The beach is beautiful there and putting a staircase there is the smartest business!

You are very smart to choose to climb that iron ladder, and thank you for doing the adventure for us!

Seeing the beautiful aerial view, your efforts are all worth it!

Great job, thanks a lot for sharing! 👍🥰🙏🙌

  11. Good morning ken thats like phil island with buko so beautiful vietnam beach.stay safe .👍✌😍🙏🇵🇭

  12. You have to dip the fried dumplings in the red and brown sauce to make them more flavorful . The stone altar on this mountain with the name of its summit ( Tien Son Dinh ) is dedicated to the Goddess of Mercy ( her statue is actually there ) and the Guardian God of that mountain ( Son Thân ) . FYI The Goddess of Mercy whom many Westerners call by the wrong name Lady Buddha is the homologue of Saint Mary for the Catholics . She is actually not Buddha's mother , but the holiest Buddhist deity (Bodhisattva) . She is worshipped mostly in Mahayana Buddhist countries like Vietnam , China , Taiwan, Tibet , Japan , Korea and also in many Buddhist temples in Singapore and Malaysia . You took a wise decision for not crossing that small fragile bamboo bridge to take pictures . A few days ago a British guy fell down from the dangerous Rock of Death in Ha Giang while he tried to climb up that cliff to take photos . He broke his leg and was hospitalized in Meo Vac then transferred to Hanoi for many serious injuries . He was very lucky for not being killed there .

  13. Local government should have been made the roadway a much descent for tourist to attract like a pavement steps…..
Don't cross that bamboo bridge…I don't wanna go with you going down …..😀😅😄😃😜😂😁👍✌✌

  14. Thank you for that epic video. Very nice view and you are correct when you say it is much more satisfying when you work for these views as opposed to driving to the spot. Also I must add that I am certainly glad that you did not cross that dodgy short bridge made out of tree limbs. Drone coverage was awesome!

  15. You are so right, live in the moment and enjoy the moment! I agree that sometimes we need to detach ourselves from the noise of the world and just breathe and appreciate what’s around us. Thank you for sharing this. Thank you for the efforts. I am so touched with your message. Thank you Ken! ❤

  16. Wow, what a climb, what a great view, you have the right philosophy: enjoythe moment… And stay safe and happy.

Freunde) unterwegs in Thailand bin. Best wishes from Cologne 🤘😎🎸
