Today we are at the “Spring Satoyama Garden Festa 2023” which is being held from March 25 (Sat) to May 7 (Sun).
Entering the garden from the east entrance, you will be greeted by carp streamers decorated with carp streamers. The sight of approximately 300 carp soaring through the sky is a must-see.

“Satoyama Garden” is a flower garden adjacent to “Yokohama Zoo Zoorasia” in Asahi-ku, Yokohama City. It is one of the largest flower beds in Yokohama with an area of about 10,000 m2, where visitors can enjoy beautiful flowers during spring and fall.

To get there, take a bus bound for “Yokohama Zoo” from Nakayama Station on the JR Yokohama Line or Yokohama Municipal Subway (approx. 20 minutes).
The gently sloping large flower bed is filled with colorful tulips, pansies, nemophilas, lupines, and other flowers, mostly from Yokohama. The large flowerbeds in spring-like pastel colors are sure to be a photo-stealing sight.
