  1. Ghib has already mastered the skill of a typical Singaporean, that is code switch

  2. They looked like they are having a great experience on how Singapore does fusion dishes. Glad they all liked it. Thank you for the hard work. Another enjoyable video by Ghib-san!

  3. definitely have to try skewer – the fusion looks affordable. You would think ngoh hiang in fusion restaurant will be $20. Definitely have to try that when i come back.

  4. Skewer bar, been there and love the fusion how it taste and the creativity.
    Thanks for video again.

  5. oh one more thing… one of your best vblog. Btw, your in law is Hokkien right? or Teochew?

  6. Japan don't have Hainanese Chicken Rice. That is why Japanese love chicken rice. The chef reinvent Japanese food with local integration. Very interesting

  7. Singapore was my former home several decades ago and I don’t recall Japanese foods like what you’ve been featuring in your videos. I have to take a trip home soon😄

  8. Awesome video as always Ghib. Could you try to find the "best" Japanese food in food court/hawker centers? From what i heard, Japanese don't really enjoy those served in the food court/hawker centers

  9. Japanese living in Singapore seem to love and appreciate life here and that's wonderful! 💗

  10. Genting is not Jenting
    it's more like 'Gernting'

    Gen of Genki Sushi
    not Gen of Generation.

  11. Maybe Singapore is a cosmopolitan city… local flavours of the Chinese, Malay, Indian as well as the Italian, French, Mediterranean, Persian styles give rise to many new ideas being born from the traditional preparations. And not being native Japanese helps, so the chefs wouldn’t be stifled by traditional ideas, but infusing their own thoughts and ideas on ingredients while maintaining the traditional outlook of the dishes… having said that, there are many very traditional Japanese eateries around so I think overall it’s a fantastic blend of traditional and Neo-fusion selections

  12. Ahah otak tamago is rather common in my household. We even make it as chawanmushi too, or if we are lazy, we steam eggs with cubes of otak dropped into it.

  13. Alamak is a malay word by the way. We mix alot of languages when we speak haha

  14. Burst out laughing when Ghib said “chow chor”! Totally localised for sure. 😂
Great video and can’t wait to try them all!

  15. Ojisan, the recent hype on geylang serai and Kampong glam nightly Ramadan fest ongoing, which you been and cover already? Any vlog upcoming from these?😊

  16. I think Singapore is not say we ok people or lady to wear yoga clothing is just we don’t care what people wear we hack care about other people we only care ourselves just don’t be naked can already😂, cause like some country if man are half naked with pant on people still can accept I not sure if Singaporean can accept cause some can be quite conservative include myself

  17. Please don’t mock the Malay lady or chef who don’t know how to spell amazing lol is funny
