“You get a bunch of freedom-loving, freedom defenders that play golf together, you’re asking for nothing but a great time.”

As the United States honors its veterans each November, Erik Anders Lang travels back to Hawaii for a special military edition of Adventures In Golf, presented by United.

Adventures in Golf takes you around the world to places you’d never think golf would exist. From the slums of Mumbai to a Louisiana prison, no adventure is too gnarly for host Erik Anders Lang. Watch for the golf, stay for the adventure.

Highlighting golf’s fun, weird, and ridiculous side.

  1. ❤️🇺🇸 This was incredible. Got choked up when the director was talking about his injuries (ears, brain, etc.). Puts some perspective on my simple life out here in SF.

  2. Erik goes skydiving…. let's take a nap now 😂😂😂 how did you sleep after that?! You're either a mad man or jetlagged hahha

  3. Really a lovely video! So nice to see how the service treats its soldiers and what the VGA means to its members!

  4. The attitude these men have abt not needing to know someone rank while playing because it just doesn’t matter should be the attitude about politics nowadays

  5. I was gonna mention that the Klipper is an incredibly beautiful military golf course when i saw the episode title, but then you actually played it!

  6. I used to golf, Cubi Point, Subic Bay. Shots hit at the edge of a fairway were often subject to monkeys stealing your ball. The caddies would trade bananas to the monkeys for the balls, then sell the used balls to sailors in need of replacements. Great times and beautiful course.

  7. all the patches i see are guard units? yea they dont know each others rank because thats what the guard does.

  8. These guys are FANTASTIC. I'd be honored to tee off with them, anytime.

EDIT: My only regret is that I cannot like this video more than once.

  9. Just started watching this series during the pandemic and it just keeps getting better. Thanks for keeping me entertained. EAL and his Skratch golf crew make a great show. Thank you!

  10. The host is the most Beta Male I have ever seen. From his visor to his long hair to his teenager voice. It is made more contrasting by seeing him around Alpha's.

I wonder if his wife's boyfriend convinced him to vote for Bernie….

  11. Man this is cool. Wish there was anything remotely like this where i was stationed. I guess being in the desert we were kinda forgotten about.

  12. Loved this video. I'm a news reporter.. I used to work in Southern West Virginia where I covered the VGA Championship at The Greenbrier AND My Grandfather was in the Military. He played Kaneohe. I have a box of his old scorecards from the 60s, 70s, 80s before he died. I hope to play all of his old courses one day.

  13. Thank you Erik for doing this segment on the VGA. I'm a Veteran and the VGA State Director for Delaware. It truly is an amazing organization that does so much for our Veterans. As mentioned many times in your VLOG, VGA events across the country offer a slice of normality for those that served. Again, thank you very much for highlighting these Vet's, I am extremely grateful that you did. Cheers
