Hong Kong. A city I know all too well. I didn’t expect to be able to visit in 2022, or at any point in the near future. But when the Hong Kong government announced the borders were opening and the quarantine would be dropped, I knew I had to go find out how much the place had changed. I last visited in 2019, a tumultuous year for the city, to say the least. So many things had happened since then, and most of the world didn’t notice.
So my plan was to hit the streets and get some answers. Along the way I’d get a very stimulating foot massage and find out the new rules for clubbing in HK.

Hope you enjoyed this walk down memory lane for me in Hong Kong. Or at least the foot stimulation. We'll visit the more unknown side of HK in the next 2 videos.
Man i love whenever he going into the party scene. Definitely one of the places i gotta visit
Forget about Hong Kong 😂😂😂 its all about Bangkok ❤❤❤❤❤
I would visit without hesitation for the traditional food. Such great many choices and variety…..cool people too.
Nice shot of Robinson Road in Mid-levels.
This video makes me feel emotional and I want to cry.
I too learned the hard way about east Asia's rainy season. 7-11 was exactly the place where I had to buy an umbrella when I was living in Japan. I went my whole life not using an umbrella until then. lmao
16:52 😂
10:49 LMAO because of your beard! Heck, I thought you were Jewish for the longest until you mentioned in one of your videos that you're of Irish descent.
Got Covid quick test in Bar, that's most ironic thing, that's HongKong Today.
So what happened with you and your new lady friend? 😅 I'm interested to know. Haha
Still with the goddamn face diapers? Lol
They ruined it with the the ridiculous and authoritarian COVID measures. Enjoy your prison city now. Hopefully they'll come to their senses soon.
Those COVID tests are so autistic and have nothing to do with science whatsoever
Nothing wrong with getting the West out of Asia. #dealwithit
Do they sell HIV test kits outside the brothels?
Take covid test before enter the club door, its so ridicilous 🤔
this is so early 20`s vibe
"emasculate you financially" legendary phrase 🤣
Do you purposely try and talk like christopher walken? Genuinely curious.
😱 PromoSM
My stomach turned with the testing & masking to go to a nightclub. Do people really think "it's" still a thing, after all the evidence available?
Free Hong Kong, Free Xinjiang, Free Tibet!
29:23 killed me 💀💀
Your Cantonese is functional, and you speak it with confidence.
This guy reminds me of Steve Buscemi
Hey sabbatical, I'm impressed with your Cantonese language. It's better than mine and I was born with Chinese parents. I'm sorry to hear you are not happy with you tube. Does that mean that you're not going to do any more videos.
Love HK. My favorite city in Asia. But it is changing now. China is taking more control of it. Implementing their laws. Hopefully it won’t affect it too much. Love the nightlife there. Lan Kwai Fong. Wan Chai. Great food. I usually stay in Central. Close to many things. Hope to be back this year.
You mentioned “Blade Runner”. The city can have a vibe similar to that great movie. Like the HSBC bank headquarters in Central. Love how that building looks. For a bank.
HK is expensive but you just have to know where to go for the cheaper things. To eat. Like I love the falafel sandwich places called “Ebineezer”. Great small places to eat. Cheap. All over HK. Loved the one in Wan Chai. Off of Lockhart Road.
You’re video really is making me miss HK! I haven’t been there since 2016. I prefer HK island side than Kowloon. More to do and see. In my opinion. Love the Captain’s bar in the Mandarin Oriental hotel in Central. Hollywood road has some great small bars too. Good happy hours!
My favorite bar in HK is one called, Escape. It was in Wan Chai. Down the street from another bar, Joe Bananas. Great bar. Escape. I’m not sure it’s there any more. Since Covid. I hope so!
The thing though is this……some if not many HK Chinese really don’t like the mainlanders. I know. I saw things in HK that proved this. Arguments. Fights. The mainlanders would come to HK and not really know how to act. Like they would keep spitting on the ground. Or they would speak really loud on their cell phones. Or they would allow their little kids to poop and pee anywhere. Just like in the mainland. I know this too because I also lived in mainland China. I saw these things too there. So there is a discriminatory atmosphere in HK against the Chinese from the mainland. They love their money though! They like to see the mainlanders spend money. That they don’t mind. It was odd.
