Don’t always believe what you read in old fishing books. Sometime things just don’t work out, but that’s the way the cookie crumbles.

Another fine video Mike, thanks for sharing your experiences!
You know its gonna be a good day when a new fly all szn video drops
Another great video, Mike. Good to know I'm not the only one who has less-than-sensational days.

Just found yer channel. I feel the same with a lot of fishing locations in my state. It’s frustrating and tough to deal with other Angeles, But finding water bodies that you can’t even google are what it’s about
looks like you were fishing at mauled by a bear national park! Great video well done.
Yes, you are an interesting storyteller; I've never fished an egg pattern – I wonder if one would work at certain times in, say, the Smokies.
I have learned that if I am willing to rough it at a spot so will 10 other guys.
Funny enough I have just about all of those same way points saved in my OnX maps, too.
what app/website did you use to scout/make ways points?
I am from Wisconsin and going to school in Rexburg, Idaho this fall and can’t wait to fly fish the mountains! Do you recommend any rivers near this area I should try out?
Another great video. Thanks for sharing.
Mike, been a follower since the beginning and the quality of your videos and the information and history you provide are so worth the watch. Even though this trip didn't meet your expectations you still caught quality fish. Scenery was awesome other than the campsites. Lookup forward to your next adventure.
Gorgeous cuttie! Bear down!
Love your videos!! Nice fishin and beautiful scenery… You put the best videos out there!!
Cool video!
I'll come back comment more on your video as soon as I watch rest of video! But I want to say your mouse pad, is awesome KU mouse pad!
I'm back 😅! I want to say thank you for giving us deep detail information on all fish you gave on this video! Great catches, and can't wait to watch more of your video's coming up soon!!! God bless you 🙏
Hang in there, it's hard to keep yourself focused on the goal but time spent will make the investment worth it! Beautiful country and enduring all the recreational use by others is part of the game. Thanks for sharing your thoughts and learning experiences so that we can use some of this in our travels to that area, I too enjoy that area and marvel at all the amount of people who recreate there and still remote enough to help preserve it from some of the abuse we see in other areas. Thank you for sharing all your experiences and selections and success with certain selections.
Great video… thanks for the realistic look into fishing on a busy weekend. Do actually wet wade in the morning chill of 40 degree air temps?
I don’t know what you do for a living but I believe you could write for an outdoor/fishing mag. Telling stories in a way that is entertaining is a gift and I believe you’ve got that. John Gierach has made a lot of money doing that. Bravo
Loved the video. Question. What you wearing on your lower half?
Lot of stuff out west requires hiking further and further to find good fishing. Not what it used to be.
