Xuanwu Lake is located in Xuanwu District, Nanjing, with Purple Mountain in the east, Ming City Wall in the west, Nanjing Station in the north, and Overboat Hill in the south, and is the largest inner-city park in the south of the Yangtze River, as well as the largest royal garden lake in China and the only remaining royal garden in the south of the Yangtze River. It is also known as the “Pearl of Jinling”, also known as Houhu and Beihu.

Xuanwu Lake is connected with several continents. Walking along the lake shore, you can see the beautiful scenery of the blue waves on the lake, the remaining lotus standing up, the boats shuttling, the willow forest on the shore and the stone bridge surrounding. After walking along the lake shore, on the left hand side is a section of the Great Wall of Ming Dynasty with mottled green stones and moss marks. Climb up the wall and look down on the Xuanwu Lake, the water bridges are connected, the Linzhou, Huanzhou, Sakura Island ring on the lake, green trees, chrysanthemums, not far from the Jiming Temple bells ringing quietly, the quiet lake reflects the city of Nanjing more and more bright and colorful. You can also canoe on the lake, leisurely and the lake to a close contact, stretch out your hand can paddle a series of water splash. Sitting on the boat, you can see the traffic in the distance, not far from the Nanjing Railway Station.
