⑥ More information on the locations I’ve visited in this video:

▶ AKASHI
Akashi is a city located in Hyogo Prefecture, Japan. It is situated on the coast of the Seto Inland Sea, and has a population of approximately 300,000 people as of 2021.
One of the most famous landmarks in Akashi is Akashi Kaikyo Bridge, which is the longest suspension bridge in the world with a central span of 1,991 meters. The bridge connects Kobe City and Awaji Island, and has become a popular tourist attraction in the region.
In addition to the bridge, Akashi is also known for its seafood, particularly its production of octopus, which is a popular ingredient in local cuisine. The city has a long history of fishing and maritime trade, and is home to several markets and restaurants that specialize in seafood dishes.
Akashi is also known for its castle, which was originally built in 1619 by Tokugawa Ieyasu, the founder of the Tokugawa Shogunate. Although the original castle was destroyed during the Meiji period, a reconstruction was completed in 1992, and the castle now serves as a museum.
Overall, Akashi is a beautiful city with a rich history and culture, and is well worth a visit for anyone interested in exploring the beauty and diversity of Japan.

▶ AKASHI CASTLE
Akashi Castle is a historic Japanese castle located in Akashi City, Hyogo Prefecture, Japan. It was built in 1619 by a famous Japanese feudal lord, Ogasawara Tadazane, during the Edo period.
The castle was strategically located at the eastern end of the Akashi Strait, which connects the Seto Inland Sea and the Osaka Bay, making it an important defensive point. The castle was built with a complex system of walls, gates, and moats, which made it almost impregnable at the time.
Akashi Castle played an important role in Japanese history during the Battle of Sekigahara in 1600, which marked the beginning of the Tokugawa shogunate, and during the Meiji Restoration in 1868, which marked the end of the samurai era.
Unfortunately, the castle was mostly destroyed during the Meiji Restoration, and only a few of the original buildings remain today. However, the castle tower was reconstructed in 1966 as a museum and cultural center. The castle park surrounding the castle also provides a pleasant walking area, and visitors can enjoy the beautiful cherry blossoms in the spring.
Akashi Castle is a popular tourist attraction and a symbol of the rich cultural heritage of Japan.
